Impact of PsA

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) can cause severe pain and swelling in the joints, an itchy skin rash, and nail damage such as pitting and peeling away from the skin. Without early diagnosis and proper treatment, PsA can cause permanent joint damage. This can change the shape of the joint and make it more difficult to use, leading to disability.
